I came across this talented amateur young girl discussing this song on youtube.

and I love her comment at the end where she says how singing this song gives her the “goosebumps”, it is such a fantastic song.

LOL Shweta, she does cry a lot!
Hey the messed up girl : some guys :: bad boy : some gals;
So the guy goes toward the girl who is the damsel in distress, so he can feel like a savior. Dev is cast as a savior here, and also in Guide (eventually) and in Hare Rama Hare Krishna, right?

Vayjanti bores me to tears (by her tears) in this one- Dev actually had the option of going out with Tanuja in the movie, who is far more cheerful and peppy- and he chose the former! it boggles the mind…
